Amateur Standout Axel Sola Looks To Carry Over Success In The Pro Ranks At BRAVE CF
After a flourishing career in the amateur ranks, French prodigy Axel Sola tries to carry over his success to the pros as he looks to secure an impressive victory in his much-awaited BRAVE Combat Federation debut.
The 23-year-old phenom is scheduled to go toe-to-toe against Croatia-based Italian stalwart Kuitty Begaj in a three-round super welterweight encounter on the main card of BRAVE CF 49: SUPER FIGHTS on March 25.
Sola has had a remarkable standing as an amateur competitor, owning a 19-5 record with six submission victories and one by way of knockout. He was once heralded by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation as the No. 1 pound-for-pound prospect in Europe with his exploits in the governing body’s various multinational tournaments.
While Sola pins his hopes on a triumphant transition to the big league on March 25th, his cage counterpart seeks the spoil the party by furnishing a statement win over the highly-touted Frenchman.
A tough test awaits him in the form of Begaj, who made his professional debut in December of last year by making quick work of his opponent via vicious ground-and-pound in the first round.
Like Sola, Begaj also joins the promotion’s talent-laden super welterweight division, which was recently beefed up with the signings of Ismail Naurdiev, Kamal Magomedov, Andreas Stahl, Nursulton Ruziboev and Luis Felipe Dias.
Putting on a solid performance at BRAVE CF 49: SUPER FIGHTS could lead either man to the notable names in the aforementioned stacked weight class ruled by Jarrah Al-Silawi.
