BRAVE Combat Federation is set to crown a new Light Heavyweight champion at BRAVE CF 88 in Slovenia, where European MMA star Erko Jun will face German knockout artist Alexander Wesner and for Wesner, the fight offers a chance to shock the world and make history.
Erko Jun has been dominant in BRAVE Combat Federation, securing first-round knockout wins in both of his appearances. In his promotional debut, he outclassed Marko Drmonjic, and in his second fight at BRAVE CF 81, he defeated former title challenger Mohamed Said Maalem to earn his shot at the Light Heavyweight title.
Throughout his career, Erko has often held advantages in speed and youth, but this time, the tables have turned.
Alexander Wesner, seven years younger than Erko, is faster and is also the Middleweight champion outside of BRAVE CF. Wesner, who has more MMA experience than Erko, began his career in 2015 and has competed across Europe, capturing a regional Middleweight title, and building a five-fight winning streak. The German fighter has finished four of his last five opponents and has ten career victories, two more than Erko, highlighting his superior experience in the sport.
Wesner is seen as a younger, faster version of Erko, making this matchup particularly intriguing for fans. The question is whether Wesner can become the first fighter to defeat Erko Jun in BRAVE CF and cause the biggest upset of the year, or if Erko will continue his dominance in the division and claim the Light Heavyweight title.
BRAVE CF 88 takes place in Slovenia on September 28 and will be the organization's second event in the country this year, following BRAVE CF 81. In addition to the Light Heavyweight title fight, the event will feature the inaugural BRAVE CF Heavyweight title bout between Pavel Dailidko and Patryk Dubiela.
