One of the most well-rounded mixed martial arts in the world today, former BRAVE CF champion Jarrah Al-Selawe makes it hard for anyone to guarantee which martial arts he was first involved in. As he seeks revenge against Abdoul Abdouraguimov at BRAVE CF 27, set for Abu Dhabi, on October 4th, “The Jordanian Lion” is back to his roots in kickboxing.
Al-Selawe first rose to prominence as a pure striker, with two KO victories in his first few professional bouts. After he started to train grappling, however, his style changed and he now has more submission wins to his name than knockouts, proving he’s dangerous everywhere.
As the rematch of the year looms, Jarrah has turned his focus back on his kickboxing skills, and guarantees he will try to knock Abdouraguimov out when the duo meet again, at the main event of BRAVE CF 27.
“You know, last time I felt like I was targeting a decision win. I didn’t pull the trigger. This is a message for Abdoul. For the rematch, I’m going for the knockout. I expect the support of the Arab fans for the event. I’d like everyone in our MMA community to go see my rematch”, said the former champ.
The rematch is just one of the big fights expected for BRAVE CF’s return to Abu Dhabi. As the promotion makes its third trip to the emirate, the biggest names in Arab MMA history will be in action, such as Anas Siraj Mounir taking on Alex Martinez, Tarek Suleiman going up against Rustam Chsiev plus the returns of Mohammad Fakhreddine and Flavio Serafim.
