Adrian Gralak plans to fraud-check Noach Blyden at BRAVE CF 87: ‘He doesn’t belong in MMA’

Sep 12, 2024

news

Adrian Gralak is on a mission as he prepares to step inside the BRAVE Combat Federation cage at BRAVE CF 87. The Polish superstar will be taking on Noach Blyden in the co-main event of the evening and Gralak wants to prove that his opponent does not belong to MMA.

Blyden, who became an instant fan favourite with his outing at BRAVE CF 83 earlier this year, comes from a kickboxing background and was undefeated in the sport before he fully transitioned to MMA. Currently, on a four-fight winning streak in MMA, Blyden stopped Gralak’s fellow countryman Oskar Herczyk in the co-main event of BRAVE CF 83 and Gralak wants to show to the world that this win was a fluke.

“He is a kickboxer. MMA, this is my backyard, I want to show that,” Adrian Gralak said in a recent interview.

Interestingly, Gralak was supposed to fight Blyden at BRAVE CF 83. He fell sick ahead of the fight and had to withdraw which made Oskar Herczyk step in. Blyden made quick work of Oskar and finished the fight in the first round to rise as one of the biggest revelations of this year for BRAVE CF.

Gralak, on the other hand, comes into the fight on the back of a first-round finish in the regional circuit. He has been active in MMA since 2019 and has fought in more than ten MMA fights across amateur and professional ranks. Gralak trains at one of the top gyms in Poland alongside the best MMA fighters in the country and is expected to bring a well-rounded MMA game into the cage; in turn, becoming the biggest test to date for Blyden in MMA.

While on paper, it would be best for Gralak to use his grappling prowess to neutralize Blyden, Gralak has the skillset to stand and trade as well. He is a blackbelt in Taekwondo and three of his six wins have come through stoppages, underlining the fact that he is a complete MMA fighter.

Whether or not Gralak will be able to derail the hype around Blyden will be the question that makes the BRAVE CF 87 co-main event intriguing for the fans.

BRAVE CF 87 happens on September 22 in Alkmaar, the Netherlands and will be the second event in the Netherlands for BRAVE Combat Federation. The event will be headlined by the Lightweight title fight between Abdisalam Kubanychbek and Raul Tutarauli and will be held in association with Enfusion’s ECE MMA.
