BRAVE® Combat Federation held BRAVE CF 79 during the BRAVE International Combat Week 2023 showcasing stellar fights that redefined the future of global MMA. The fight night gifted fans with thrilling knockouts and emotionally-charged fights in front of a packed arena. The fight night ended with the Arab MMA legend Tahar Hadbi (14-9-0, 2 NC), who was a part of the Middle East’s most debated rivalry with Lebanon’s Mohammed Fakhreddine retiring from his career as the main eventer, one last time after his bout against Ismail Naurdiev (23-7-0).

In the main event of the evening, Hadbi went toe to toe against Naurdiev who took him down after the first minute. Hadbi stood up into a guillotine choke and was submitted by the young prodigy.

In the co-main event, the Lithuanian monster Pavel Dailidko (7-2-0), terrified the audience with his sheer dominance by rendering his opponent injured within 13 seconds of the opening round. The anticlimactic fight witnessed Csukas attempting a low kick that was blocked which had injured his knee. Following the fight, Dailodko called out all the fighters in the division and expressed his intentions to capture the heavyweight world championship gold at BRAVE CF.

In the opening fight of the night, Chequina Noso Pedro from the Netherlands faced Russia’s Dzhokhar Duraev. The bout started with early attacks from both fighters. Pedro made it clear who was going to win the grappling game. While Duraev began to slow down after multiple takedowns, Pedro kept landing more shots. The pace increased further in the third round as a visibly tired Duraev landed some solid shots. Pedro controlled the fight to win by unanimous decision. Mohammedseifi put on a calculated effort against a tough David Forster who fired precision shots through all three rounds. Mohammedseifi quickly found his comfort zone and started targeting Forster’s right leg to control the fight. Mohammedseifi put on a clinic to showcase sheer domination to win the bout by unanimous decision.

Rasul Magomedov controlled the fight from the start to bulldoze his way to victory by relentless takedowns to striking from guard. He landed powerful punches from side control but Laid managed to survive. Magomedov suplexed Laid and landed a barrage of punches from full guard to win by technical knockout.

Nika Kupravishvili shocked the MMA world by dominating the favorite, Khamzat Maaev to finish him in the second round. Kupravishivili got his first takedown and Maaev was unable to overcome the grappling game against the underdog. Kupravishivili continues to dominate the striking and ground game to transition freely through Maaev’s guard to end the fight with relentless punches.

Ramazan Gitinov secured a blazing 8-second win over Beknazar Zhanybekov as his opponent injured his ankle resulting in a technical knockout victory due to his injury. In the highlight of the night, Eliezer Kubanza sent shockwaves across the division with his raw power then canceled every attempt by Adel Ibrahim to strike and grapple the IMMAF prodigy. Kubanza started landing big shots while controlling the ground. Ibrahim stands up only to get rocked by Kubanza who quickly finishes the fight with powerful ground punches within the opening round to score a memorable knockout win.

The event will be followed by BRAVE CF 80 on 15th December as a prelude to the Bahrain National Day. Grab your tickets now to miss it!
