ALISKEROV RETURNS WITH BLOODY TKO VICTORY AT BRAVE CF 33

Event Date: Dec 27, 2019

Location: BRAVE CF 33 TOOK PLACE IN SAUDI ARABIA

news

Ikram Aliskerov seemed like a man on a mission. Fresh off the first defeat of his professional career, the former Sambo world champion returned to the BRAVE Combat Federation and dominated veteran Diego Gonzalez en route to a third-round stoppage due to strikes. It was a bloody and eventful fight, as Aliskerov showcased his improved stand-up at Middleweight in the main event of BRAVE CF 33.

Working a stinging jab from the start, Aliskerov moved very well, avoiding any major damage by the dangerous overhand of Gonzalez while scoring at will with combos and straight punches. Ikram attempted a flying knee, but the fight ended up on the ground as he dominated the first two frames.

On the third round, he stepped up, and finally got redemption, as he stopped a very tough Gonzalez, who held on even though his face was full of cuts and very bloody.

"Diego should change his nickname to iron head. I've never hit somebody so hard and he wouldn't go out. Much respect to him. Thank you to Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa for everything you do in Bahrain and abroad, and Saudi Arabia for hosting BRAVE CF 33. I'm back, I know I can be dangerous at both weight-classes, but I think Middleweight is for me".

In the main card, the two Saudi fighters lit up the crowd with amazing performances. Mostafa Rashed Neda handed prodigy Alexis Fontes his first professional loss with a barrage of punches, while Abdullah Al-Qahtani edged a game Zia Mashwani in the night's co-main event.

Elsewhere there were violent wins for Jeremy Pacatiw and Sam Patterson. Pacatiw recovered his pace as he knocked out former title challenger Felipe Efrain in the first round of his tenth BRAVE CF bout, while Patterson submitted fan favorite Cian Cowley after getting the better of the exchanges early on.

BRAVE CF now moves on to Slovenia, where BRAVE CF 34 takes place in partnership with leading local promotion WFC. The show will kickstart a tremendous 2020 on January 19th, and bouts will soon be announced.
