Bio

Jose ''Shorty'' Torres became just the second American fighter to win a BRAVE Combat Federation world championship when he edged Nkosi Ndebele in a battle for the ages for the main event of BRAVE CF 73, which took place in Colombia, on August 12th, 2023 - the first was Bubba Jenkins, who became the Featherweight titleholder in 2018;

A product of the IMMAF system and fighting under the KHK Team Bahrain banner, Torres became the first-ever athlete to claim an IMMAF world championship and a BRAVE Combat Federation world championship;

Jose ''Shorty'' Torres is only the third BRAVE CF Bantamweight world champion, as he follows the footsteps of inaugural champ Stephen Loman, and Canada's own Brad Katona;

''Shorty'' remains undefeated under the BRAVE CF banner, increasing his promotional record to 4 wins, no losses, and 1 draw - overall he holds a pro record of 12-1-1, and a huge amateur record of 25 wins and only one defeat.
